LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A man disarmed a suspect who allegedly robbed him at knifepoint at his home after forcing him to drive there from a gas station.

Laredo police officers were called to a robbery in the 4900 block of Marcella Ave. at about 6:34 p.m. on November 26.

The caller told police he was at a gas station on U.S. 83 when 21-year-old Bryan Pinones-Muniz grabbed his keys and demanded to know where he lived. Pinones-Muniz then drove to the complainant’s home in the caller’s gray Chevy Malibu.

Once at home, Pinones-Muniz demanded money and two TVs. The complainant gave Pinones-Muniz $708.

When he refused to give Pinones-Muniz more money, Pinones-Muniz went to the kitchen, grabbed a kitchen knife, and charged the complainant.

The complainant then disarmed Pinones-Muniz before call
