Manchester United have officially completed the signing of young goalkeeper Charlie Hardy. United were waiting for Premier League ratification for the move to be sealed and the transfer has now been signed off.
Hardy has signed scholarship terms at United and was pictured with Steve Higham, head of academy operations, who presented the youngster with his United club suit at Carrington.
He wrote on Instagram: "Proud to sign for Manchester United , the hard work continues."
The 16-year-old goalkeeper played for Derby's Under-18s last season and represented England's Under-16 side. In the summer, Hardy announced he was leaving Derby, writing on Instagram: "After almost a decade at Derby County, the time has now come for a new chapter.
