Though Melania Trump has been extraordinarily successful in transforming the role of first lady into a part-time, mostly remote gig, even she needs to put in some face time at the office. The holiday season is one of those times, as the first lady has traditionally been in charge of choosing a theme for the White House’s Christmas decorations, an unfortunate responsibility for someone who it’s fairly evident dislikes both Christmas and being first lady.
