On Thursday night in Rome, Cinecittà Studios hosted the world premiere of Brunello: The Gracious Visionary. The new documentary, directed by Oscar-winner Giuseppe Tornatore, tells the story of designer, entrepreneur, and humanitarian Brunello Cucinelli as he makes his way from an impoverished childhood on the rural outskirts of Perugia to the upper echelons of the fashion industry. Cucinelli has no shortage of devotees, from tech moguls to fashion insiders to Hollywood A-listers—and a veritable cavalcade of them showed up to watch the film and raise a glass to the man.
