Hulu has released the first-look teaser for the Malcom in the Middle reboot, and it includes a callback to the original series.

The teaser shows Malcolm getting his back shaved, just like Bryan Cranston’s Hal got shaved by Jane Kaczmarek’s Lois in the first episode of the original Fox series.

Malcolm in the Middle : Life’s Still Unfair is a limited four-episode revival of the Frankie Muniz-starring sitcom set to premiere in 2026 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally.

The limited series brings Malcolm back into Hal and Lois’ orbit as they demand his presence at their 40th-anniversary party, despite his efforts to shield himself and his daughter from his dysfunctional family.
