ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — An autopsy from the Knox County Forensic Center shows an Anderson County baby, whose parents were recently indicted in connection with his death , died from acute methamphetamine toxicity.
The baby boy was almost 2 months old at the time of his death in July 2024. An Anderson County grand jury indicted the child's parents earlier this week.
On Tuesday, Anderson County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Payton Bridges and James Cain at their home. They're both charged with reckless homicide, aggravated child abuse (under 8 years of age) and aggravated child neglect (under 8 years of age), according to ACSO.
