Martin Kemp has opened up about being reunited with wife Shirlie, admitting: “She told me she loved me…..but that I needed a bath.” The star — who has been married for 37 years — admitted that being apart from her was one of the hardest things he has ever done.

After seeing her at the end of the famous jungle bridge after he was booted from I'm A Celebrity , he says her first words left him elated. “The first thing she said to me was, ‘I love you,’” he said.
