‘Sad day for science’: Fmr. CDC Director on vote to end universal Hep B vaccine for newborns

The CDC vaccine advisory panel has just made a massive change to the childhood vaccination schedule, voting to stop recommending the Hepatitis B shot for newborns whose mothers test negative for the virus. The panel, stacked with members who align with Health and Human Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and his vaccine skepticism, voted 8-3 to roll back a standard that has been in place for over 30 years.
