A man was found unresponsive with significant upper-body injuries at the D&D Motel in Canandaigua early Friday morning, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies and the Canandaigua Emergency Squad responded after a 7:33 a.m. welfare-check call to the Ontario County 911 Center reporting a possibly injured adult male in Room 1. The victim was treated at the scene and airlifted by LifeNet to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Officials say there is no threat to the community. A press briefing will be held by the Sheriff’s Office this afternoon.
