BENTONVILLE -- Motorists in Bentonville will be among the first in the state to see new anti-litter displays being installed along Arkansas highways, starting next week.
The Arkansas Department of Transportation announced in a news release Friday it will first install the displays in two locations -- Exit 91 along Interstate 49 in Bentonville and Exit 42 along Interstate 555 in Jonesboro. The displays will be in place for approximately one month, then rotate to new locations around the state.
Travelers along Arkansas highways will see a series of blue highway signs with anti-litter messaging, according to the release. The first sign will read, "ARDOT spends over $8 million per year combating litter." A second one will say, "Are you part of the problem or the solution?" The third sign wil
