LSU’s football season tickets will cost the same in 2026 as they did this past season, the university’s Board of Supervisors and athletics announced Friday.
It’s a reversal from the Board of Supervisors’ earlier decision in October.
“LSU has the best fans in the nation who are passionate, loyal and loud. Because of that support, the LSU Board of Supervisors and LSU Athletics have decided that we will not raise the price of the football season ticket cost for next year,” the university said in a statement.
As a result of the proposed ticket price increase, LSU would’ve pocketed more than $4.5 million in additional revenue, the school previously estimated.
The increase would’ve been applied only to specific sections — “areas with high renewal rates and high secondary market values,” LSU
