Former Harrisburg High School star and Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Donte Kent will miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury during Wednesday’s practice. Kent’s injury was initially a lower leg injury in training camp, but the knee issue popped up late.

It is the second time that has happened with the Steelers this year, as cornerback Cory Trice injured his knee in practice a month ago while trying to return from a hamstring strain.

Kent told PennLive before the regular season that he felt he was nearing 100 percent, but the seventh-round selection missed nearly a month with a foot/ankle injury that left him in a walking boot for over a week.
