Ichecked and apparently itis not officially a word recognized by the English dictionary. An oversight? A not-yet-named affliction?

Maybe, but despite that, we are still going to roll with it. Call it literary larceny if you will, an admitted incorrect use and abuse of our English language.

Shopachondria: It is particularly common this time of year. Specifically, it describes those that may be frozen into scared submission by the mere thought of going to a shopping center or even browsing online. Just the simple idea of trying to find a gift for a loved one, or friend, and not knowing what to get can lead shopachondriacs everywhere into bouts of dizziness, nausea, delusion
