Atwater Village— Sound bath facilitator Alice Moon has found that hosting her events at a mattress store is a match made in heaven.

“My attendees love it, and yes, there is a lot of snoring,” says the Echo Park resident.

With a background in marketing, Moon wanted to bring her harmonic vibes to new venues . After reading about someone in the Midwest who staged sound baths at a mattress store, Moon decided to test the waters. She found a partner with Mattress Central in Atwater Villag e, which boasts 50 queen-size beds on display.

On sound bath nights, the owner closes the store early to allow for preparation.

Fresh sheets and face masks are provided for “bathers” who bring their own pillow for the hour-long session. Participants can rest in their own bed or share one for a reduc
