Twins make decisions on trading Byron Buxton, Joe Ryan, Pablo Lopez

The Minnesota Twins have had three players prominently featured in trade rumors this offseason.

Byron Buxton, Joe Ryan and Pablo Lopez have all been viewed as candidates to be sent to other teams.

Now? It sounds like they're staying put.

The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal reported that the Twins plan to keep all three of these guys for the 2026 season.

It's a refreshing bit of news for Twins fans, if it holds true.

Buxton has said he wants to be a Twin "for life."

The Twins could've traded Ryan in July, but they opted to keep him then.

Lopez is another solid starting pitcher behind Ryan.
