UPPER BURRELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

A person has died after an early morning crash in Upper Burrell, Westmoreland County.

Multiple crews responded to a crash involving two vehicles on Route 780 near the Upper Burrell Volunteer Fire Department Friday.

Officials say one person, who has not been identified, died and another person was taken to a trauma center for continued care.

Few details on the crash have been released.
