Why is the Chattanooga Christmas Market actually moving to Knoxville this weekend?

It’s a strange story.

The market has been a tradition in Chattanooga for the last dozen years.

But this year, the convention center booked the rooms before the Market could reserve them.

So instead of cancelling, they are heading north over the next two weekends to the World’s Fair Exhibition Hall in Knoxville.

So the vendors and sponsors are from Chattanooga.

But the shoppers will be from Knoxville.
