After FIFA held a lengthy draw for the 2026 World Cup on Friday afternoon, the United States knows who it’ll be facing in the group stage.

The USMNT will open with Paraguay — who they beat (and fought with) last month — on June 12, 2026 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Then they’ll also face Australia and the winner of UEFA playoff C: Turkey, Romania, Slovakia, or Kosovo.
