Entering its ninth season in Major League Soccer in 2026, the Los Angeles Football Club has tapped Marc Dos Santos to take the reins as head coach.

LAFC announced Dos Santos’s ascension Friday, making the 48-year-old Canadian the third manager in club history alongside Bob Bradley and the recently departed Steve Cherundolo, who stepped down at the end of the 2025 season following four successful years.

During Cherundolo’s tenure, Dos Santos, a native of Montréal, served as an assistant coach. He was also a member of Bradley’s inaugural staff in 2018 prior to taking over as head coach of the Vancouver Whitecaps from 2019-2021, compiling a 22-37-18 record.
