UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) - An escalating political feud at University Heights City Hall has taken a dramatic turn after outgoing Mayor Michael Brennan sent an email on Dec. 3 that bans Mayor-elect Michele Weiss from city buildings and urges city employees not to meet with her.

The dispute, revealed in the message, comes less than a month before Weiss is scheduled to be sworn in.

The email, obtained by 19 News, opens bluntly:

It then states that Weiss is banned from all city buildings and property and instructs employees not to meet with her.

Mayor Brennan defended the order, saying Weiss should wait until she is officially the mayor before taking steps that could affect current staff.
