Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowl safety Julian Love and veteran defensive tackle Jarran Reed are both expected to return from injury for Sunday’s Week 14 road matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, head coach Mike Macdonald told the media on Friday afternoon.

“J-Reed should be good to go, which is exciting, and Julian is planning on playing,” Macdonald said. “We’re gonna play it accordingly. We have a plan and we’ll see how the game goes. But excited to have those guys back.”

Neither Love (hamstring) nor Reed (wrist, thumb) were given a game status designation on Friday’s injury report . Both players are still on injured reserve, but the Seahawks have two open 53-man roster spots to activate them off IR ahead of Sunday’s game.
