GARDENA, Calif. (KABC) -- Three people are recovering after a violent crash in which their car flipped and landed upside down at a McDonald's drive-thru in Gardena.
It happened on Friday around 12:30 a.m. at the corner of Rosecrans and Vermont avenues. Video obtained by Eyewitness News shows a white vehicle on its roof just steps away from the restaurant.
The driver was rushed to the hospital with a broken leg while the two passengers suffered only minor injuries.
It's unclear what caused the crash.
