BALTIMORE —
The Ravens continue to recognize youth groups in the area who are making an impact by bringing them to the game to sit in an Honor Row.
In late September, Mary E. Rodman Elementary School held a blackout for the fourth annual attendance day — a huge yearly celebration. The school was at 99% attendance on the day of the celebration.
"We want to make sure that we get all of our students excited about school, and to come to school — on this day, every student and every day moving forward," said Greta Goodwin, the school's principal.
Goodwin said the events build a connection between the students, their teachers, their parents and the community.
