A St. Clair Shores man accused of plotting to carry out a mass shooting at a school has been charged with several felonies, according to prosecutors.

Joel Edwards, 20, allegedly was posting on TikTok about a desire to carry out a mass shooting, according to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office. When police conducted a cyberthreat investigation and welfare check on Edwards in September, they found he had weapons in his possession, according to prosecutors.
