TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Florida State University football coach Mike Norvell spoke publicly on Friday for the first time since early signing day and the end of the 2025 season.

With so many fresh faces and even more swirling questions around the Seminole program, Norvell provided a lot of answers and just a handful of unsolved questions.

A total of 32 players signed grant of aid to play for Norvell’s Florida State Seminoles throughout this early signing period — a big class to address some big needs.

“We were able to address some positions of need but also enhance rooms with elite-level potential,” Norvell said.

The soon-to-be seventh-year head coach was very pleased with this year’s wide receiver haul.
