SPRINGFIELD — The union for faculty and staff at Springfield Technical Community College has taken a vote of no confidence in institution’s President John Cook, his cabinet and the trustees, according to a document from the labor group.
“After a sustained pattern of actions and decisions that have eroded trust, damaged working relationships, and negatively impacted morale and institutional effectiveness, the undersigned put forward this motion of no confidence,” the Massachusetts Community College Council union wrote in a statement delivered to college officials Friday.
The council represents workers at the state’s 15 community colleges, including STCC staff.
