Recounts by the Summit County Board of Elections for two races in the Nov. 4 election show an incumbent who earlier appeared to be losing will keep her seat, while a challenger in another race widened his victory margin.

The elections board released recount results Dec. 5.

Twinsburg Board of Education incumbent member Lea Travis won in that race’s recount, edging out challenger Chris Kraska by 10 votes. Earlier results showed Travis losing by three votes.

Seven candidates sought three Twinsburg board seats on the Nov. 4 ballot.

In Hudson, City Council at-large challenger Kyle Brezovec defeated incumbent Chris Banweg by 67 votes. Earlier results showed Brezovec ahead 36 votes.

Six candidates sought three at-large seats on Council.
