ROCHESTER, Minn. — The Olmsted Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is offering seed mixes and plant kits for purchase on their sales website. The sale starts on December 8 and ends in April 2026 on a first-come, first-served basis. The seed mixes feature local-ecotype seeds native to Minnesota, including grass, sedge, and wildflower components. The plant kits include 36 plugs of six species, designed for various purposes like supporting monarch butterflies and replacing buckthorn. Additional details are available at www.olmstedswcd.org .
