BILLINGS, Mont. – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has launched a cost-saving initiative for families in Montana with their "One Dollar, One Tree" program. This program offers reduced fees for personal-use permits, including Christmas tree and firewood permits for just $1, from now through January 31.

BLM Montana/Dakotas State Director Sonya Germann highlighted the program's benefits. "These fee reductions and expanded access make it easier for people to gather firewood and Christmas trees close to home," Germann said.
