LOS ANGELES - Former Vancouver Whitecaps boss Marc Dos Santos has been named head coach of Los Angeles FC.
The 48-year-old from Montreal succeeds Steve Cherundolo, who announced in April that he was stepping down at the end of the Major League Soccer season. Cherundolo, who played his entire career in the Bundesliga with Hannover 96 and met his wife there, is moving the family to Germany.
Dos Santos has been an LAFC assistant coach since 2022, his second stint as an assistant.
