PORTAGE, Wis. (WMTV) - With the help of a Portage Police Department K9, officers arrested a Sun Prairie man for having multiple illegal drugs and evidence of drug distribution.

On Friday, November 28th, 2025, an officer with the Portage Police Department pulled over the 39-year-old man in the City of Portage for a traffic violation.

During the stop, a Portage Police Department K9 alerted officers to the presence of drugs.

Potage officials searched the vehicle and found a large quantity of illegal controlled substances and evidence of drug distribution.

During the search, officials seized about 7.5 grams of fentanyl, 7.7 grams of cocaine, 22.3 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 1.9 grams of methamphetamine, Adderall pills, and $1,568 in cash.
