AUSTIN, Texas — The family of 19-year-old Texas A&M student Brianna Aguilera is pushing back against the Austin Police Department’s suggestion that her death last weekend was a suicide.
During a press conference on Dec. 5 in Houston, Aguilera’s family and their attorneys accused the Austin police of concluding their investigation. They said critical evidence — including the autopsy, toxicology report and rape kit results — remains unfinished.
“We have to get this right,” attorney Tony Buzbee said. “This is not just for this family. This is for any family. You have to get this right.”
