PALMER — A forest of decorated trees brought the holiday spirit to families and neighbors in the Three Rivers section of town on Friday evening.
Festive cheer filled the 13 th annual Christmas Tree & Wreath Festival at the Palmer Historical & Cultural Center, where the merriment was on tap for all ages.
The free-admission event offered a mix of holiday entertainment, children’s activities and community giving.
The opportunity to come in from the cold and listen to holiday music while walking among the beautifully decorated trees and wreaths was a draw for Gerry Dearden, of Palmer, and Deb Bercovici, of Brimfield.
“We like it because it’s cozy and relaxing in here,” Dearden said.
Visitors were able to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a decorated tree or festive wreath — ea
