COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The halls of the South Carolina Governor’s Mansion are decked for the holidays, and soon, South Carolinians can see the festivities for themselves.
On Sunday afternoon, Gov. Henry McMaster and First Lady Peggy McMaster are inviting South Carolinians to their home for the annual Christmas Open House at the Governor’s Mansion.
The Columbia Garden Club has been decorating the home for the holidays every year since the 1980s, and this year’s theme is easy to spot: “100 Years — Put a Bow on It” to celebrate the club’s centennial.
“Putting a bow on this wonderful, beautiful mansion and celebrating our 100 years with the garden club,” Columbia Garden Club Mansion Decor Co-Chair Mitzi Daniels said.
