A new service has been launched by British Airways
British Airways has launched a major new route. It connects Madrid-Barajas Airport with London City Airport.
The flight is operated by BA Cityflyer, a subsidiary of British Airways. The service has a network of domestic and European destinations from the UK capital's airport and offers 11 flights a week to the new route, tourism website Hosteltur reports .
A special event was held in Madrid on Monday this week to mark the new launch. It was attended by the UK Ambassador to Madrid, Alex Ellis, who highlighted the robust investment between the two countries, in addition to the large number of tourists travelling between the two destinations.
