INDIANAPOLIS — Harrison Israels and Kevin Lombardi each scored twice and recorded two assists as the Indy Fuel routed the Cincinnati Cyclones 7-2 Friday night.
The Cyclones opened the scoring just over a minute into the game when Sam Stevens scored unassisted on Fuel goalie Mitchell Weeks for a 1-0 Cincinnati lead.
Brett Moravec pulled Indy even at 14:11 of the first period on a goal that was assisted by Israels and Lombardi. Three minutes later, Israels scored his first of the game, from Lombardi and Tyson Feist, for 2-1 Fuel lead. Cincinnati answered quickly, tying the game 35 seconds later on a goal by Ryan Kirwan.
It was all Indy in the final two periods.
