FACTORYVILLE, Pa. — Santa made a stop in Wyoming County Friday night for a Christmas celebration.
Arriving in style on a fire truck at the Christy Mathewson Park, Santa and Mrs. Claus paid a visit to the children at the Factoryville Christmas Market , which kicked off tonight.
There are more than 70 artisans and vendors with festive refreshments and live music on tap.
Meteorologist Jeremy Lewan was tonight's guest of honor and assisted with the tree lighting ceremony.
The tree is adorned with handmade ornaments made by third-graders at Lackawanna Trail Elementary School.
The Factoryville Christmas Market runs all weekend, with hours on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
