SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - In downtown South Bend Friday night the holiday spirit was in full swing for December’s First Friday’s event.
The night kicked off with holiday music and performances by a wide variety of bands.
Those who attended were also able to take part in photo opportunities, giveaways, holiday merchandise and fireworks.
It all built to the arrival of the big man himself... Santa Claus.
Two residents from Granger were at the event.
“It’s great, especially right outside the South Bend Chocolate Factory, got me some hot Chocolate,” said Maddie Marlow. “Yeah, it’s wonderful with the snow, the early winter we have and everything, it just made the mood,” said Michele Marlow.
