The best part of a college football conference championship game is that it can sometimes be a chance for revenge from a regular-season matchup.

That's the case in the Big 12, as No. 11 BYU (No. 11 in College Football Playoff rankings) takes on No. 6 Texas Tech (No. 4 in CFP) from AT&T Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 6.

The Big 12 championship is arguably the most impactful game of the final CFP field: Should Texas Tech win, BYU will be on the outside looking in. If the Cougars win, however, they will likely steal a bid, knocking out one of either No. 10 Alabama (No. 9 in CFP) or No. 9 Notre Dame (No. 10 in CFP).
