The New York Yankees are slated to have an elite starting rotation but could still be looking to add to the group. The winter meetings could be a great opportunity to do that.
While Gerrit Cole and Carlos Rodón are expected to miss the start of the season, when healthy, the Yankees figure to have Cole, Fried, Rodón, Cam Schlittler and Luis Gil. However, The Athletic's Jim Bowden proposed the Yankees make this trade with the Milwaukee Brewers for Freddy Peralta:
