SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - No. 4 Dakota State (S.D.) exploded for 33 third-quarter points and buried 16 three-pointers as the Trojans ran away from Mayville State (N.D.), 92–51, in Frontier Conference action Friday evening at DSU Fieldhouse.
Dakota State (9–1 overall record, 4–0 Frontier) built a 41–23 halftime advantage before completely taking control in the third quarter.
The Trojans’ lead ballooned to as many as 43 points in the fourth quarter.DSU lifted their home record to 6-0 this season.

DSU used its perimeter shooting to jump out quickly, hitting six triples in the opening quarter to take a 22–15 lead.
