Our current president is very busy. What with the nearly four-year Ukraine war not “settled in an hour, with a phone call.”

War crimes, inflation, unemployment, cost of food and approval ratings — people are not happy.

However, recently President Donald Trump declared “a nursing degree is not professional,” and shall not be treated as such.

Did Trump say this on July 13, 2024? His ear could have been another political casualty. Did Trump appreciate the care in Butler? Probably not.

My daughter is a UPMC nurse, from St. Francis Hospital, and now in management. My son-in-law is a nursing supervisor. I worked at our Butler hospital. I worked as a family therapist at St. Francis, Butler Care Unit, 3 North, and a medical courier.

Thank a nurse.
