Forecasters at Netweather say violent thunderstorms are likely across Wales, the Southwest of England and other regions as a band of low pressure is sweeping eastwards
Dozens of flood warnings and alerts are in place today as thunderstorms — with 60mph gales — loom today.
The majority of flood warnings are for spots across the Southwest of England, which is subject to a thunderstorm alert by meteorologists with Netweather today. Storms will be heaviest this morning across Ceredigion in west Wales and parts of south Wales.
