Opinion: Government needs to fund more of what demonstrably works

Earlier this year, on an early morning drive to Boise, I could see that snow had fallen all night, yet the roads from Idaho Falls to Blackfoot to the I-86 interchange, and eventually up toward Mountain Home, were astonishingly clear. Not perfect, but maintained. Cared for.

We often hear about what the government gets wrong. But that morning, I witnessed what it looks like when the government gets it right.
