Game of Thrones prequel hailed 'instant classic' as trailer drops

Game of Thrones spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has just unveiled an exciting new trailer, leaving devotees of the HBO fantasy epic absolutely delighted.

The forthcoming series, adapted from George RR Martin's works, chronicles the adventures of humble hedge knight Ser Duncan the Tall (portrayed by Peter Claffey) and his youthful squire Prince Aegon Targaryen (Dexter Sol Ansell).

Known affectionately as 'Dunk' and 'Egg', the duo set off on a string of perilous yet entertaining escapades throughout Westeros.

Taking place a century before the Game of Thrones storyline, the series will connect the original fantasy masterpiece with its continuing prequel, House of the Dragon.
