A proposed Target store for Livingston Parish — a project nicknamed the "worst-kept secret" in the parish — is moving forward.
On Tuesday, the Livingston Parish Planning Commission unanimously approved the final site plan for "Juban Crossing Phase 3."
The site plan is labeled "Proposed Target Juban Crossing" and includes a building for Target surrounded by other smaller commercial buildings in a new strip mall at the northwest corner of Juban Road and Juban Crossing Boulevard, according to a document obtained from the planning department.
Murray McCullough of Benchmark Group, a local engineering consulting company, said at the meeting the plan is for multiple retail stores, but he did not explicitly name them.
"It's the worst-kept secret ever," he joked to the commission.
