A woman who had no idea she was pregnant went into hospital thinking she had painful cramps—only to leave two days later with a newborn baby.
While many women cherish their pregnancies and vividly remember the plethora of changes their body went through, the same can’t be said for Keionna Dickerson. For nine months, she still experienced regular periods that were no different from normal, her weight didn’t change, and there was certainly no telltale pregnancy bump.
Yet, all along she was expecting.
Dickerson didn’t experience any symptoms, although she told Newsweek that she had “constant pains” in her uterus. Nonetheless, they didn’t feel too dissimilar to menstrual cramps , so she assumed that the cause.
