COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Detectives are investigating a suspected burglary pattern after arresting a man Friday evening.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers responded around 7 p.m. to a burglary in progress at a home in the 8000 block of Hardwood Circle.
Officers said they arrived and saw a man in the backyard of the home who immediately ran upon seeing the police.
Officers apprehended the suspect, later identified as Dung Phan, after a brief foot pursuit and found him with property allegedly consistent with items stolen from the residence.
Police believe this incident is related to an “active pattern burglary investigation.” CSPD Metro Burglary Unit detectives responded to assist.
Phan is being held in the El Paso County Jail on a $10,000 bond
