Switching off from Talmud to target practice has paid off for Raziel Cohen.
Given the moniker the Tactical Rabbi , the 28-year-old has been nominated for a prestigious Gundie Award , considered the Oscars of the firearms community.
After spending more than 10 years honing his skills and racking up certifications from the NRA and Department of Justice, Cohen is in the running for Firearms Instructor of the Year.
“This is beyond a dream,” the founder of the National Defensive Firearms Academy told The Post from his home in New Jersey. “I was shocked when I was nominated – it’s an insane feeling.”
