PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department and Providence College said that seven students were treated after an overdose incident on Liege Street overnight.
Police said that officers who were dispatched for a suspected double overdose found four patients on the lawn and three inside the residence.
Narcan and advanced life support were administered, and all seven were brought to the hospital where they were “conscious and alert.”
Providence College Associate Vice President of Public Affairs, Community, and Government Relations Steve Maurano said that the school would be conducting a full investigation into the incident.
